OPENISLAMABAD annual events has always been most awaited events for me. This year’s PAKISTAN 2020 and Beyond was an event with purpose and commitment to make PAKISTAN digitally progressive. The team Islamabad chapter has done a marvellous job. Bad weather could not stop people attending from all over the pakistan. Kudos to OPEN ISLAMABAD.Shahid Aslam on January 2, 2020 10:39 am

A great event organized by Open Islamabad. It felt great to get an insight about the businesses other than technology. The best talk i saw was by the panel which elaborated the Digital Marketing aspect of business. Especially Junaid Akram who gave pointers that really put some perspective on an issue I've had starting my own YouTube channel. These events are the way to get the young generation to go towards entrepreneurship. Applause to all who organized this event.Nasar Altamash Khan on January 2, 2020 10:41 am

This was my first Open Islamabad event that I attended. The most important point to mention here is that I went away with more than what I came in with. That is, I gained a lot from the event in terms of knowledge and knowing more people. The guest speakers were well chosen and had very useful things to tell. Q&A was good and there was a hefty share of panel discussions, which I think have no match as event items and is what I generally go to events for. On the whole, it was a day we'll spent and I came all the way from Lahore, travelling by the night train, and I can happily give a big shout out to Open Islamabad for holding a wonderful event. We'll done Open Islamabad!Shahid Qayyum on January 2, 2020 10:43 am

This entire day was one of the best I’ve ever spent. I attend a lot of seminars, including ones by prominent people, the content was great. The delivery and the ambience was equally as great. Lots of brilliant ideas flying about. Salman Wasay was thoroughly inspiring to me.Muzammal Nawaz on January 2, 2020 10:44 am

The annual forum catered most dynamic, and versatile fields. Highlighted contemporary issues and opportunity potential in each area. A great learning experience for those who want to learn and influence masses. Loved the collection of speakers and wisdom imparted.Javeria Hassan Khan on January 2, 2020 10:49 am

The event was amazing! Every speech and panel discussion was motivational and inspiring!!!Dania Ilmas on January 2, 2020 11:03 am

I really liked the session on the retail sector of Pakistan because most of the time in such conferences, areas like retail are neglected because of negative perceptions. The presentation was very refreshing and gave me a lot of insights into this sector. I loved the session by Mr. Salman Wasey and why 80% of our entrepreneurs venture into this category. I always look forward to Shabahat's session where I can learn the government's efforts in supporting entrepreneurship. Overall it was very inspiring and informative, however, the timings could have been managed in a better way.Sabeena Abbasi on January 2, 2020 11:07 am

You want a review right a review for the improvement of your organization's event. Here it goes...."It was a great event" as all the reviewers will say but what is important not how the event was organised or how the talks were held but did it affect someone because after all it was for people right. Follow up on the attendees and the speakers who came to the event ask how their life had something extra because of the event they attended what is something new they defined in their life. Emotions can be devious and people can link goodness of the event with the good food they ate or that the place where they were sitting was cozy so they told their mind you know what the event was really good. But if you ask most what specific and am saying again "specific" thing was good they won't know it because there wasn't anything or they could not perceive anything good thus they can't explain and their decision of the whole event is just based on the emotion they had and thus they will find a part of event and say it was good because this and that and mostly that would be just ...(I don't want to say the word) because "You find what you look for". So what I think you should be interested is not how the event was but how have it effected people's lives, isn't it why it is being held(open Islamabad). I believe in a lot of things but two of them are : thought then thought then thought .......and then action and thought then thought then thought then thought...... then action... so what is the action they took.........Shafeeq Jadoon on January 3, 2020 2:10 pm

OPEN Islamabad always holds event may those be completely technical or more on the social angle which have meaningful content. The events are always organized wonderfully and they almost never disappoints from the technical sessions to large scale conferences.Muhammad Waseem Khan on January 3, 2020 6:12 pm

Very well organized event by the OPEN Islamabad team, with a broad range of topics. The team did an excellent job bringing in some great speakers. It was my first OPEN event in Islamabad, and I was impressed by the attendance and participation by the many entrepreneurs, technologists, and business professionals that attended. I am looking forward to the next event.Taimur Rashid on January 3, 2020 7:05 pm

The impact of event as a whole was great. All the speakers added a good value proposition for the journey of our startups. But I would like to mention some quotaions of guest speakers which I liked the most: "Always put your team in front of media if you get success and always put yourself in front of media when you fail" Quotation by Shabahat ALI CEO National IT board Lesson: Take the ownership of your team and lead from the front. Giving the equal reward to your team is what make you a leader of your team. " There are three key points which you should take into account when you choose your Mentor or Advisor for your start-up: 1: He should be best in his field for which you are getting advice from him. 2: He should have a good network because network is your net worth. 3: There must be green blood in his body means he must be true patriot of Pakistan. For a service based company the most import thing is the team means the best strategy for a service based startup is: Hiring the best, Training the best and Retaining the best " Quotation by Owais Anjum CEO E-mumba " Hospitality of Pakistani culture is the unique selling point for the tourist from other parts of the world. If we can't put a good image of our country having 220 million people then no one else can do anything for us" Quotation by Komail Naqvi CEO Find my Adventure ThanksHammad Ali Tariq on January 3, 2020 8:20 pm

Open Islamabad is one of the Pakistan’s leading professional networking platform. OPEN collaborate with companies, universities and individuals and design emerging market oriented sessions and opportunities to address the unique needs, that helps working students & professionals achieve their career goals. OPEN is helping professionals thrive, not just survive.Qadeer Akhtar on January 4, 2020 10:08 pm

The event organized by open association Islamabad was incredible, as it was well organized. open Islamabad invited all the relevant speakers, who shared their life achievements and their whole life and career experience, which I think was a very motivational thing for new comers. The speakers highlighted the lack of industry and academia linkage, as I think due to this gap, Pakistan is facing energy, financial, research, economic and technological crises and we are far behind from developing countries like Bangladesh who are empowering day by day more than us. Open Islamabad invited speakers from all fields which we need to make & can be made stronger for prosperity of Pakistan like tourism, food business, e commerce, who motivated and welcomed young students towards freelancing and entrepreneurship. Location for event was awesome and arrangements were outstanding.Ali mirza on January 6, 2020 2:33 pm

So, overall the event was really good, the best thing I liked was that there was something in there for everyone, like every tech business was touched. Its great to see people doing and talking so much about Pakistan. Though the sessions were back to back, I think we need to take a small break in between, as I also felt like having a coffee or to get something to eat but I also did not wanted to miss the talks too, so I think we need to look into that. Other then that, it was Great! Godspeed!Ammad Khawaja on January 2, 2020 10:40 am
